Eliza always appreciates a good feather.

“My Bonnie lies over the ocean!”  His song du jour.

We found this incredible caterpillar in our penta plant a few nights ago.  I thought it was a toy until it wriggled in Eliza’s hand!  Eek!  After much googling, I’ve determined it’s a Tersa Sphinx Moth caterpillar.  Or The Caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland.  Not sure.  Anyway, since Eliza is completely fearless and will nonchalantly pick up any living creature, we had a long talk about asps and other “mean furry caterpillars.”
