Fun family weekend.

by Amy M.

Eliza’s been a bit cranky lately–probably more teeth coming in.  Despite that, we had a really great weekend!  Hope you did, too!

The contrast between Jed and Eliza (at his age) is striking.  He’s laid-back and smiley, he takes excellent naps, and cuddling is still his favorite thing.  None of those qualities described Eliza as a four-month-old.  She always seemed so frustrated and eager to be independent.  At least she’ll cuddle now, as long as we’re reading a book or watching Baby Einstein.

Speaking of Baby Einstein–I’ve noticed that Eliza has been trotting around the house saying words and practicing signs she’s learned from the show.  So my guilt with regard to screen time has been alleviated somewhat:)

Jed is also much more physical, it seems.  He doesn’t mind tummy time, and he loves to roll around all over the place.  I’m sure he’ll be crawling in no time.  I’ll be sure to share some video of him this week.

His hair always ends up looking like this, regardless of how I try to comb it.
